Rayobyte's original product

Datacenter proxies are where Rayobyte started. As Blazing SEO it sold dedicated datacenter IPs to people running SEO tools, and that product is still a core part of the catalog. A static datacenter proxy is an IP address hosted in a data center that is assigned to you alone and doesn't change. It's fast, cheap and predictable, and because no one else uses it, its reputation depends only on what you do with it. Our datacenter proxies and dedicated proxies guides cover the type in general.

What you get

  • Dedicated IPs in 29 countries at the time of writing.
  • Unlimited bandwidth under a fair usage policy, so heavy jobs don't run up a per-GB bill.
  • A minimum of 5 IPs.
  • HTTP(S) and SOCKS support, with username and password or IP whitelisting. See authentication options.
  • IP replacement from the dashboard if an address gets flagged. See replacing Rayobyte IPs.

Pricing

Static datacenter IPs are priced by country, since IPs in some locations cost Rayobyte more to source. On top of the country price:

  • Volume discounts: 15% off at 100 IPs and 25% off at 1,000 IPs.
  • Prepay discounts: 5% off for 3 months, 10% for 6 months and 15% for 12 months.
  • Enterprise: from $0.85 per IP per month with a commitment.

Independent reviews have quoted around $2.50 per IP per month for a US dedicated IP at small volumes. Check the per-country price list on Rayobyte's site for current figures. Our Rayobyte pricing explained guide shows how the discounts stack.

As a worked example, 200 US IPs at a $2.50 base, with 15% volume and 10% six-month prepay discounts, would come to roughly $2.50 x 0.85 x 0.90 = about $1.91 per IP, or $383 a month. Discounts may apply differently in checkout, so treat that as an estimate.

What they're good for

  • SEO tools and rank trackers that make many requests to lenient endpoints. See Rayobyte for SEO rank tracking.
  • Bulk scraping of lenient sites where speed and unmetered bandwidth matter more than IP trust.
  • Sneaker monitors, which poll sites constantly and need cheap, fast IPs. See Rayobyte for sneaker bots.
  • Fixed-IP access to APIs or partners that whitelist addresses.
  • Country coverage on a budget across 29 locations.

Residential tip: You can test most of this guide for free: Rayobyte offers a no-card trial on Premium Residential, rotating ISP and rotating datacenter proxies. Move to a paid plan once the pilot works. See Rayobyte static ISP proxies.

What they're not good for

  • Heavily protected sites that block datacenter ASNs. No datacenter proxy fixes that; move those targets to residential or the Web Unblocker.
  • Account management on strict platforms, where ISP IPs are safer. See static ISP proxies.
  • Rotation at scale, which is cheaper on rotating datacenter traffic.

Dedicated or semi-dedicated?

If budget matters more than exclusivity, semi-dedicated proxies share each IP with up to two other users from $1 per IP. The trade-off is that someone else's behavior can affect the IP's reputation. We weigh it up in dedicated vs semi-dedicated Rayobyte proxies.

Using a static list well

  1. Spread requests evenly across the list instead of hammering the first few IPs.
  2. Keep per-IP request rates below what the target tolerates; static IPs get remembered.
  3. Track success per IP and replace the ones that start failing.
  4. Use subnet diversity if you have many IPs, so one blocked range doesn't take out the whole list.

Our proxy rotation strategies guide has more detail.

Proxy tip: For a second opinion on hard targets, run the same test through Geonode residential proxies, which support sticky sessions up to 24 hours and ASN targeting. We compare the two in Geonode datacenter proxies.

How it compares

Webshare sells datacenter lists from $2.99 for 100 shared IPs and offers private and dedicated options, which is usually cheaper than Rayobyte for small budgets. Geonode's datacenter product rotates per GB rather than selling fixed IPs. See Rayobyte vs Webshare datacenter proxies and Rayobyte vs Geonode datacenter proxies.

Not sure this is the right proxy type for the job? The best proxies in 2026 guide compares residential, ISP, datacenter and mobile options, and our cheap proxies guide covers budget picks that still work. To understand the IP type behind this, read our residential proxies guide.

Budget tip: For jobs where a fixed IP list is enough, Webshare is one of the cheapest options: shared datacenter proxies are sold by the IP, and static residential (ISP) proxies cost well under a dollar per IP per month at the time of writing. More in Webshare static residential proxies.

Key takeaways

  • Static datacenter proxies are Rayobyte's original product: dedicated IPs, 29 countries, unmetered bandwidth.
  • Prices are per country, with up to 25% off for volume and 15% for prepaying a year.
  • Great for SEO tools, monitors and lenient bulk scraping; wrong for protected sites.
  • Semi-dedicated IPs cut the price if you can accept sharing.
